The Zeroth Tenet of Aretéanism is:
"Do, Not Do Not"
One guiding principle that shapes the design of Aretéanism is to focus on how to be excellent, rather than focusing on avoiding specific wrongdoings. Doing things excellently inherently avoids most wrongdoing, but fixating on specific prohibitions don’t necessarily result in excellence. Because of this, Aretéanism does not have many prohibitions. Instead of “Do Not”, we emphasize “Do”.
