We should be willing to share not only our material resources with others, but our thoughts and desires as well. The world is in need of more reasoned voices speaking up for good in all facets of life, and the Heroes of Areté are well equipped to do so. We should not be shy to discuss important topics and open communication is easier communication. Openness is a reciprocal trait which requires that we also be open to the private opinions and desires of others. Genuine listening is key to establishing real openness, and we should delay harsh judgement until an argument has been thoroughly examined. Transparency leads to better honesty, and receptiveness will improve our learning.
