A good life can and should be a happy life as well.  Laughter, dancing, and many other types of pleasurable activities are good things which enrich our lives!  Choosing to be jaded only denies oneself the opportunity to get more out of simple things; choosing to celebrate provides the opportunity to get more out of grand things.  Joyfulness will encourage us to be more generous, grateful, and hopeful; which in turn will lead to more joy.  We should make time to rest from our labors and enjoy good things in our lives.
